The course is built upon developing a solid foundation of general computing and forensic investigation skills at each level of the course, allowing students to study the practical problems associated with detection and investigation.

The Department of Computing offers this course working with the Department of Crime and Policing Studies. Additional input is provided in the form of master-classes from industry professionals; bringing a practical experience to the theory considered and the skill sets developed.

法鑒計算機專業Forensic Computing

在學習過程中學生需要獨立完成一份法鑒計算機研究報告,或者研究開發出一份計算機軟件來幫助法律鑒定。這門學科不僅包括了計算機專業，同時涵蓋了相關法律及鑒定研究的課程內容。為將來就業打下良好的基礎，學習過程也很有意義和挑戰性。

入學要求1 預科申請者：無需專業背景要求，雅思5.0分即可申請。時間1年，之后入讀本科課程。適合于高三畢業學生。

2 本科申請者：雅思要求6.0分。5.5分的申請者會獲得2周時間免費語言培訓，之后入讀本科課程。申請者須在大學學習至少1年計算機專業。

3碩士申請者：雅思要求6.5分。6.0分的申請者會獲得1個月免費語言培訓，之后入讀碩士課程。申請者須有專業背景。
